The list of censored words is likely identical to DS3, given that all the obvious problems are still present, so this censorship checker should always work:

Technically you could input an invisible character inside the censored part to make it show up for other players(since "nig" is now "n[invisible character]ig"). Inputting specific characters with Alt + [number] works in the game but the number you need to input depends of the game's character encoding and I have no clue which one is used in the game. And the only way to know if it works is to be summoned by someone you know.

thanks ! this helps a lot. some harsh words doesn't even get censored. but they censor what the game main character is literally about (knight), shame.

Switch the I for a J and it will look close enough. Knjght vs. Knight.

It's kind of dumb anyway considering these games are not for kids as it is. Like, the Pokemon censorship is ridiculous when even the default names of some pokemon are censored, but at least that's a game that's targeted at children. But Dark Souls and Elden Ring are full of blood and gore, corpses in piles and corpses impaled on stakes, twisted monsters that show signs of once being human, and so on.

nah i found a better solution, i switched upper case i with lower case l , they're basically the same 😂. Although i still need to check with a friend if it works
