Diallos Quest Help

I'm on my second run of the game and completely missed out on Diallos' Questline after fully concluding Alexanders quest to get his innards and jar shard Talisman on the first run. I decided to kill him earlier on in my second run to get the other jar shard Talisman from him and am currently in Jarburg after progressing through Diallos' questline up to the 2 recusant contracts from Volcano Manor and every time I interact with the little Jar Baron, it keeps telling me about "those awful Poachers" over and over again.

Did I screw this up because I killed Alexander too early? Will I not be able to finish Diallos' Quest now because of it?

Edit: Never mind, I figured out the problem. I didn't exhaust his dialogue after finishing the second contract in Volcano Manor. Whoops lol
