Question about Ashes of War

I have the storm stomp ashes of war on my sword, yet whenever I press shift+right click nothing happens. Can anyone please help me?

Did you try both shift keys?
Is your character standing when you do this?

If you don't meet the minimum stat requirements to wield your weapon properly, you can't use your equipped AoW. Same happens without enough FP.

My other shift key does the same thing as my left one. And I can't reach my mouse with the other shift key. I've tried it standing still and moving.

I have enough stats to wield the weapon properly. I'm also pretty sure that I have enough FP to use it.

I can't figure out which key bind is for the ashes of war thing.

Actually, the default 1h + OFf-Hand Shift-Rt Click only ever applies to the Off-Hand weapon/shield.

To use a Weapon Skill for the Main-Hand weapon, you always have to be 2H the weapon. So it is switch to 2H, use the Skill, then switch back to 1H + Off Hand. Inconvenient, I know.

I have mapped specific keyboard key to the 'Skill' ability in Elden ring setting (I use 'Q').

This allow me to do Off-Hand skill with a single press and Main-Hand skill with a single press after I have it 2 Handed. :)

I re-mapped the buttons. my ash runs off the middle mouse button, works a lot better for me that way.

Thank you so much! All I had to do was 2H the weapon then press F.
