If you wanna go mage build (not good in invasions) u want around level 150 cause u need more stats in my opinion.
You have to be a bit more spesific tho in what you mean pvp , invasions or arena? cause best build differ from one to another.
If its strength , you put it to strength , if its dex you put it in dex etc...
You cant go hybrid like 35 strength 35 inteligence or smthing , you are gonna have more options yeah but you are gonna deal no damage.
I did the same mistake when i started pvp i went for a quality build ( strength and dex) but that doesnt work on those levels , you need to choose one, you can add me if you need more help ive a pretty good amount of hours in pvp
40 vig, 28 mind, 33 end, 27 str, 40 dex, 35 intl, 16 faith, 9 arc
i think its good for a hybrid build at this pvp bracket
in my right hand i have the carian sorcery sword and in my left hand i have the tree sentinel set, the movesets are awesome, cuz i can use my left hand to deal serious damage and use right hand to do decent meele dmg and use spells
If you go 40VIG, you do this at the expense of survivability to invest more in your primary offensive stat to create a glass cannon. Not focusing these points in one offensive stat just makes a toon with lowered survivability AND low damage output. Remember, VIG not only increases your HP, but your base defense stats as well.
Not really, if you stack res and use res properly you can easily get away with vig 40. all of my toons are vig 40 and I beat the game my first time around with estus flask +10 and no great runes.
Sir, this is in reference to PvP, not PvE. Of course 40VIG is doable in PvE. Hell, I'm in the DLC with a RL30, WL+5 toon vacuuming up all the stuff there. Buff stacking is the only way to survive there aside from the ususal git gud.
for stats i will go whit
54 vigor
42 strength / or Dex
21 endurance
20 dexterity if is not your main stat
and the rest of your points 28 you can spend them on (this is calculated as a wretch):
mind, intelligence, faith or arcane
talismans you may want as a suggestion : great-jar arsenal +33% carry load , DragonCrest talisman +20% physical dmg reduction and green turtle talisman
54 vigor is ok would prefer more like 60
21 endurance is horrible both for equip load and actual stamina
40 points to your main damage stat is very low
and spreading almost 30 points of stats into random stats is a horrible idea also
Great-jar talisman is good as you said depending on the build
Dragon crest talisman is 20% only for PVE and 5% for pvp so its not good for pvp
turtle talisman is kind of situational if you need it or not but not bad indeed
Keep in mind we are talking about a bigginer in pvp as im understanding, 40 points to main stat is generaly bad but beeing a bigginer with 40 points in main stat is mutch worse you are gonna deal no damage and you are not good enought yet to play without an optimized build against 3 players at the same time
