two options: a gpu driver problem or the config file is damaged.

windows key+r
%appdata%

there you find a elden ring folder open it there is a config xml file delete it, check if this fix the issue, if not you need to check the gpu driver settings for the game.

Hello,

My issue its the Game sets 3840x2160 resolution every session, but my original resolution its 1920x1080 in Elden Ring.
Even more, the game doesnt let me to set the resolution back to normal, it simple do not react when I tried to change it.

Luckily I can fix this by going to %appdata%\Roaming\EldenRing\GraphicsConfig.xml
https://gyazo.com/fc028a517c0082145b32e460c0850c45

But it resets every day.

My spec:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
Ram 64,0 GB
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (Drivers up to date)
Win 11

What is unusual in my spec is 2 monitors, both full HD (1920x1080) with a lot of alt+tab operations.
A lot of remote connctions, such as Steam Link or Parsec, which changes my resolutions to 800x600 cause sometimes I connect using my phone.

The issue happens in ER only
Any ideas?

it happens by a update of the nvidia driver you have to setup at multimonitor systems now the gpu driver for the game or the driver force a custom virtual resolution.

To disable this option, right-click your desktop and select "NVIDIA Control Panel". Go to "3D Settings" and find the "DSR - Factors" option. Un-select all possible settings and confirm
