have you a manual backup ?
Once a save is corrupted, there is no recovering it. At worst, it may somehow get noticed and you would pull a 180 day ban.
Good Luck
No problem. Do you know the location of the saves? It is:
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming
And the directory there is EldenRing.
Copy the entire directory. I just CTRL-Drag the directory to a holding directory I made named EldenRing-Saves. Then I rename the EldenRing directory just copied into it in the nature of : "Elden Ring - 12.22 Afternoon". Replacing the date and time of day appropriately.
Good Luck
Has fromsoft addressed this ? Is it a fact that save files can be corrupted by other players or are you just speculating ?
it is a fact, fromsoft does not care about this problem. ppl found out what exactly going on but the solution is to undo the changes the hack does to the savefile via a cheat engine.
variables shared between host and invader get overwritten with false values by the invading hacker, it started with a rubberband called hack that change the variable of spawnrange of a coop partner.
