In December 2024, Sony invested approximately $318 million to acquire over 12 million shares of Kadokawa Corporation, FromSoftware's parent company. I'm not personally excited at all. While it'd likely be a decent distraction from the current void of what I really want (more Elden Ring), Nightreign's game-loop itself is not something I wish to partake in at all. In my eyes, it's the 'Wish' or 'Temu' version of what I really want.
