How long does it take to finish the Elden Ring. Does anyone have any tips for finishing fast?

In my experience a completionist playthrough (explore every area, kill every boss) takes ~150 hours.
If one skips optional content - you can probably halve that time.

Don't grind and stick to main path.

Summon players or Spirit Ashes for help but backup your save
before summoning players or you could lose all progress!

I think that would be around 30, 50 hours.

2 playthroughs, 250 hours average each

doing a run with most quests, collectibles and killing nearly everything optional BUT with the help of a interactive map im at 80h, finished with the basegame and halfway trough the dlc but this is my 5th character and im kinda mixed at good killing speed but super inefficient for mapping.

for a blind playtrough plan 100-200h if youre good and on the faster spectrum.
if you rush only main bosses with summons probably 10-30h

I finished my first playthrough in just under 210 hours.

There were definitely a bunch of smaller things I missed - some catacombs, caves, evergaols, even one of the hero’s graves, along with probably a bunch of unique item pickups - and I failed several questlines due to FromSoft’s old classic “guess what the hell you’re supposed to do” quest design.

50-150+ hours, lmao. Not joking. I have about 5-6 toons I've beaten it with, 1 I've finished the DLC with.

You're going to be investing a lot of time.

If you just play through the mandatory content to get to the ending, probably somewhere between 20-40 hours for a first time run, depending on how much you die/get stuck on something.

If you take the time to explore do as much content as possible, you can easily get into the triple digits.

Realistically, even if you're aiming for the first, you won't know what is and is not mandatory unless you look up a guide. So if you're doing it blind, probably 40-60 for a simplified run.
