Bloodhound's Fang

It's my first time playing the game, and I accidentally sold the "Bloodhound's Fang" to a merchant. Is there anything I can do to get it back? I really want that sword, but I don't want to restart.

Either new game or indeed get it from someone else.

Nah, Duchess is cool. It's a good idea to make manual backups of your save anyway though, particularly since there have been some nasty hackers around recently that can screw your game up via invasions or co-op. If you don't know how, there are a ton of guides available everywhere, it's a very simple process once you do it the first time.

At the very least, the Bloodhound Fang is *right there* near the start of the game, so a person could help you even without any save manipulation by quickly creating a new character and killing the Bloodhound Knight in the Gaol.
