Is RoB still OP and what other fun weapons are there?
I am currently struggling with motivation to continue playing the game mostly because i have grown tired of using the same weapon and i can't find any new ones. I just got to the mountain top of giants and i know that RoB is just up ahead which is a weapon i'd like to try but I've heard a lot of people say that it makes the game to easy which i don't want. I'm not playing a hyper optimized build with most of my levels in Arcane, faith and Dex. I'm also wondering if there are any other fun weapons i should try.

Rivers of Blood is still good, but nowhere near as overwhelming as it once was. If you haven't used it before, it's worth a look.

Even if you aren't perfectly optimizing, trying to split your damage between three stats is setting yourself up for failure. I'd drop one to focus on the other two, or maybe even re-spec for another build entirely if you're getting bored with what's available.

If you want to focus on Arcane and Faith, any melee weapon is just going to be a sidearm. Get dragon communion incantations and try a few different ones out to see what you like.

If you want to focus on Arcane and Dex, go for the Rivers of Blood, sure. Otherwise you can also try the Cross-Nagakiba, which is pretty good.

If you want to focus on Faith and Dex, a Lightning Cult build is both fun and effective. You can go for the Bolt of Gransax, or try out one of my favorite weapons, the Guardian's Swordspear. Give it a Keen infusion, and you won't regret it.:praisesun:

It's a (pretty generous) random drop from the Tree Guardians found around Minor Erdtrees and on the giant branch in Leyndell.

I can drop you one if you don't have luck farming it.
For some reason it dropped from almost all enemies using it for me. :steamhappy:

Edit: I can drop you two if you want.

I've yet to make a DEX/ARC build past the early game, but you could use a variety of stuff, depending on your stats values. RoB is indeed the prime choice since there not many special Dex/Arcane in base game.
Reduvia, Eleanor Poleblade and Occult infused innate bleed weapons like Nagakiba and Flamberge come to mind. You could also look into claws.
Or even cool poison builds with Poison Mist AoW, Poison Moth Flight AoW (Scarlet Rot Blooms Twice later) + Serpent Coil shield + Kindred of Rot Exultation + Mushroom Crown.
As for infusion it's up to your preferences, you could go Bleed infusion on weapons that don't have innate bleed, Occult for those who do, or if you have a lot more DEX than ARC, Keen infusion so the weapon can still be buffed with Bloodflame incant or greases. :MHRISE_OK:

Extra if you consider respecing someday:

For PVE i would like to say Blashemous Blade is the strongest weapon available for STR/FAI, at least for exploration in term of sustain/stun/group clearing, outclassed by Magma Wyrm Blade vs Bosses weak to fire.
BB is very potent naturally and compatible with Golden Vow + Fire Grant me Strength buffs.

For DEX/INT, invest a minimum in STR to use Death Poker, it got a formidable AoW, then later on Moonveil or a Milady with cold/magic infusion will start to really hurt, especially coupled with Rellana's Cameo.

STR/INT can never go wrong with heavy bonk stuff cold infused, otherwise look into Radanh's gravity dual swords, Meteoric Ore Blade or even Ruin Greatsword. I even heard good things about Alabaster swords, but never invested in it myself.

If you didn't get the Bolt of Gransax from Leyndell (platform onto the giant spear stuck in a building) you should go grab that, it's a dex/faith weapon with an amazingly fun weapon art. It's one of the longest-range projectiles you can get, especially for a faith build.

str/int are also fallingstar beast jaw with amazing bolt of gravity built-in skill, and of course str/int is royal greatsword which could deal more than 1.000 damage per single hit, and it's skill, wolf's assault, with right setup could deal more than 6000 damage

What are some of the best/your favorite "You can go to x in 15 minutes of starting and grab y" weapons that I can instantly start using?

You need to defeat a boss for it, but the Rusted Anchor is available really early and kicks ass.
