Game Crashing (same 20ish seconds in crash)

this seems to be an issue stated in a bunch of threads by now, an old bug that came from 2024 and now its here again.

obligatory context:

1. i open the game.
2. it crashes at around 20 seconds, no error message, no crash log, nothing.
3. game is closed an im confused.
4. i've come here for an answer for fixing it.
5. profit???

yes, i verified the game files right after i did the following:

1. i got into elden ring with no issues at all, but picked the wrong character by accident so i went back to title screen.
2. the game now said it couldnt log me in and that i should try to use the "log in" button.
3. used the "log in" button like 3 or 4 times wondering why it kept saying it couldnt connect me (when everything else that uses wifi is working fine on this same device).
4. restarted the game using alt+f4 because maybe i got a bad login ID for that session or god knows what, better be sure.
5. now it crashes after like 20 seconds or so, wether i try to load a game or not, wether i log in or not.

my specs are the following:

Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13620H, 2400 Mhz, 10 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB
Total Physical Memory 15.7 GB
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU

my OS is a ripped windows 11 for max allowance to my resources (optimization nerd :c) which explains why it only occupies 300mb.

I would delete all local files, reinstall and then use OFFLINE mode before you start

dark-breed not only helped me solve it but also helped me save my cpu from manufacture issues.

my highest respect to this person, every answer and solution on point, no bs, just objective results. 87/10 cant even fit this in the scale.
