the game freezes every 30s

So I have been playing this game since it came out and my frames dropped to 0 about every 30s to a minute. I fixed this problem by upgrading to a good pc about a year ago and elden ring has ran at max settings at 60 frames with no frame drops. But after the last time Windows updated itself that issue has come back. I've tried to update my drivers. Tried solutions other people came up with on reddit, youtube, and here. I've tried lowering all my settings to low and played offline. Nothing has worked. I checked task manager and my cpu, gpu, and ram are all under 50% usage so everything should be fine I would think. I don't have any other applications open while I play and I disabled my antiviurs too. Was wondering if anybody knows how to fix this without having to roll back a windows update.

Game struggles even with high end pcs. What helped me go to task manager, choose software something I forgot and under it something called Microsoft something and disable it. It worked for me.
If you using only GPU or both CPU and GPU, try to test out what works better for you, it might helps

there is a mod called "Elden Ring PC Stutter and Low Fps Fix" on nexus mods

fixes it all right up

running game with mods means you play offline only or with seamless co-op mod.

otherwise, it can be done manually by changing cpu affinity, disable CPU core 0
and setting nvidia shader cache size to unlimited

the mod does all that for you basically

Microsoft Device Associated Root Enumerator under Device Manager maybe? It can cause stutters depending on what is connected to your PC or even what is on your network. Disabling it can sometimes fix the stutters.
