Can't craft arrows, even with recipe and crafting kit.

Hello,

I am doing a Seamless Coop playthru with a couple friends who have never played a Souls game, or even a Souls-like before. Super fun time for me to have them get to see this for the first time!

We have encountered a problem though. One of the players is unable to craft bone arrows (or other arrows from that recipe book).

To be clear, they DO have the crafting kit. They can craft other things. They DO have the correct recipe book purchased from merchant in the church, and they cannot repurchase it. The book is present in their inventory. Everything looks like it should allow these arrows to craft, but they don't show up as an option in the crafting menu.

Oddly enough, we got another recipe book from beating a boss, and those new recipes have shown up in the crafting menu. It seems that just that one book's recipes are not showing up.

Any one have this happen, and know a fix? Any ideas on a work around or any option at all to allow them to craft these arrows?

8osmosis I appreciate you taking the time to reply, but I don't think you understood the issue correctly. In fact you are so off base that I assume this was meant to be a joke, unfortunately it has gone over my head. Apologies for that.

Just incase you are being sincere, they do have the ingredients. The arrows do not even show up in the crafting menu.

Just tested on a brand new save. Some people who join with different progress on their save will experience this type of problem. For example, I play with my brother, who was impatient and played ahead of me. Now, our Roundtable Hold has two versions of Roderika permanently stuck there, which broke her quests for the host (me). This can happen with recipies because if one person has it but others dont, the mod syncs your progress but does not also give the reward. Nothing stops you from trading each other materials to make the arrows, and then trading them back as a fix.
