Simon Belmont Build (BUT i dont like whips)

I like castlevania so i thought i would do a simon belmont build. But as soon as i got the the whip i disliked it. I thought it would have more range and its so slow. I think i might just switch to a straight sword and and keep the whip secondary. The only thing i can i say it would be good for if there is a lot amount of trash mobs in front of you the strong attack can deal with them by hitting them all at once.

Yeah the whips are disappointing

If you want a really fun whip then I recommend playing Wo Long, probably the best whip weapon I've ever seen in a game.

Whips are best when power-stancing with two of them IMO.

Get the throwable axe and dagger from the dlc

There are no specific AoWs for whips and enemies with whips look more realistic.

Quality build with Nox Flowing Sword and Nox Flowing Hammer is the way.

Maybe dual-wielding two Hoslow's petal whips with bloodhound step like Juno Hoslow is viable

Take Urumi and use the fully-charged heavy attack. You'll love whips afterwards.

Was gonna suggest this as well. It's got a unique heavy attack that deals Thrust damage, and quite satisfyingly.

good point the whip I was using was the standard one. So I have yet to experience the Urumi . I will try and get it as soon as possible.
