Mage with poise

ok so i love mage build and all the time i pick range 1 for boss and normal monster i always use carian slicer, its relative the best sorceries cost almost nothing and if have stamina i can chain damage enemy 2 time till start attack me, so its perfect, but something changed me, distortion2 was make a mage chalenge run on all soul games and he was kill consor radahn with carian slicer, i was so shocked to he kill the hardest boss in my opinion :D with my favorite sorceries and he kill it in first attempt i think :D wtf :D

So i realize this small sorceries have so much potential, and come up a really cheese tactic, will use carian slicer and maybe piecer from now on D but i'm not good in dodge on close range i will need poise so even if the boss smash me still damage it, the current build its this

What else i can use here? to increase more poise and to be honest i not really focus on the mechanic on er, 1 last thing, i want to stay in light load.

Light Load only make you roll further away. Take of that what you will.

Most Spells have little Hyper Armor & will still be interrupted by most attacks.

The Carian Glintstone Spells (not to be Confused whit the Carian Glintblade Spells) that make you swing a magic sword are all very good & Carian Slicer is one of the best pure DPS Spells in ER. FYI: Gavel of Haima is not a Carian Glinstone Spell, it should be, but it is not., it does have some hyper armor on cast though.

FYI2: Carian Slicer can be parried.
FYI3: Carian Slicer does 1.8 Staff DMG. The Carian glintblade staff will boost this by 1.15.

Thematically speaking, Carian Greatsword, Carian Grandeur and the new fancy Carian Sovereignty would fit better.

Also Carian Sovereignty is the new Best Magic AoW for how disgusting the DMG can get. Also it does not require a big weapon unlike Waves of Darkness.

i dont know i mean WOD its practically better, its knock down enemys, its better then this 3 carians, just make damage this 3 carian sure probable make more damage but wod its not for the damage, its for tactical reason i pick
