hmmmmm try buffing your health as much as possible maybe. 60 Vigor, Max Health Talisman, Great Rune of Morgot. That got me over the edge first time I tried him with Ashes summons but that was pre patch Consort Radahn.

i have 60 vigor and am running the best crimson medallion talisman and i dont have any great runes

If you want to trivialize the fight you can use a greatshield build with antspur rapier. You can block almost every attack, just the big aoe and comet attack need to be avoided otherwise.

Have you actually used them at grace to increase Scadutree Blessing level?
You should have Scadutree Blessing level at 18 with that much fragments.

Just collecting Scadutree Fragments will do nothing on its own.

yeah I can't beat this guy.

Phase 2 is out of control. Once he goes airborne if your spacing is off even a little and you get clipped you will take full AoE from EVERY subsequent attack with ZERO openings to pot or move (with 52 poise)

The keyboard input reactions are really, pretty cheap IMHO.

Definitely considering great sheild cheese. this boss is a joke.

i need a mod to ONLY practice phase 2 AoE attacks. thats the only place he beats me. To much flashbangs to tell wtf is going on. turned down graphics and it didn't help a bit. Just a waterfall of AoE holy damage and the major attacks do 85-90% of my health with 60 vigor and 18 scadu

5 minutes of fighting and i get one shot to practice massive jump/AoE moves

I guess its meant to do several thousand attempts?

Terrible design. Mellenia is hard this guy is beyond broken

You can go halfway to the Greatshield Cheese if you dont want to respec. Any Medium shield with the Great Shield Talisman and adequate endurance can block his entire combos.

Fighting Consort Radahn was the first time I ever used a shield in this game XD

You should stop following fighting cowboy's guide.
He will get you into ♥♥♥♥ you are not ready for.
He does a nice guide, but his ADHD prevents him from sharing important info before you figure it out. Once you figure it out you are fked.

They def patched Consort Radahn... hes way easier than he was at release.
I recently did a playthrough on NG+ after some time away, and when I got to the end of the DLC I was worried bc I didnt have the fingerprint shield on this character.
I managed to beat him third try.
I only had 16/8 scadu/spirit ash going in. Dun Eater Puppet and I managed to get him down to 20% comet smash phase on the first attempt. Duel rapier frost build.

Man 60 vigor ? I'm on my first playthru not really knowing anything and i got 20 vigor.
Thought it was fine lol. Guess i'll lvl vigor a bit more then.
I killed Radhan while riding the horse, he didn't really do much. Went and equipped that super heavy armor with a fat belly, since i was planning to stay on horse, walking slow didn't matter.

Instead of using colossals try using two heavy spears (he's weak to pierce) or two halberds (Golden Halberd ideally), put on Claw Talisman and jump attack whenever you can. Hunting for critical hits is not worth it. Phase two: stay close so theres greater chance he will just use his 'bread and butter' combos. Always dodge into him and try hugging his right leg during attacks. Put on 'Dragoncrest Shield Talisman' and 'Golden Braid' and as heavy armor as you can medroll with. Max the Scadu. Try starting each phase with rotting him. This guy is insane. Good luck.
