my game crashes as soon as my character loads
ofc i understand that there are tons of versatile and pretty similar problems on discussions. but i dont have a clue how to fix this, because ive already tried a lot of methods, none of them work. its like this: main menu opens, and i have about 10 seconds to load my save, otherwise, game will crash immediately. once my game loads, 3 seconds pass and game crashes with no error or white screen. is it something specific and can it be fixed? thanks in advance :)

i eventually found an error. and i am a bit confused. i opened the details, what should i tell you as an information? guid, faulting offset, or the general ID of an error? i need some help with it, because im not very delved into it.

no, definitely. i have never used or installed such a programs. and ofc i dont have such a device, though ive heard of hp omen involved in similar problems
in the case no background app cause the issue this fixed for the remaining cases the problem

verify gamefiles, restart windows, verify gamefiles again

deinstall tools like process lasso, process/system explorer, third party antivirus tools,

run a systemcheck/repair

open command prompt as administrator

run this command

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

After this is finished

Sfc /scannow

Repair the c++ redistributables

https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

restart windows

https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

restart windows

delete EAC installation completely and reinstall it

delete the 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' folder in C:\Program Files (x86)

then Use Registry Editor to delete all keys and values that had 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' to do this search up "REGEDIT" in search.
right-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Find and look up the term EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete all you can find in the registry.

then go into elden ring's game files delete the easyantichat folder there

verify gamesfiles, restart windows

then go again into elden ring's game files in the installation folder and navigate to easyanticheat folder, and click on the install_easyanticheat_eos_setup

a prompt will pop up and hit enter.

if the problem even than exist a deeper check of the system is needed,

I have the same problem, and I'm using HP as well. How can I solve it?

If you've tried other troubleshooting steps already, another thing that can possibly cause the game to crash upon loading or seemingly at random after playing for a while, is if the game cannot write anything to virtual memory. Make sure, that the pagefile in Windows is set to "System Managed"[www.tomshardware.com], if you ever changed it's behavior in the past.
Then make sure have enough disk-space on the drive that has the pagefile (C:\ by default if you never changed it in Windows). It can go well over 20GB during gameplay. If your C-drive is full, try to make some space.

for hp users are some different ways of solution, if the omen gaming hub is installed you have to deactivate the hybrid GPU usage by set in the performance setting to discrete.

at some older HP laptops it does not work so the second option is to close any omen process in background or deactivate the iGPU indevice manager.
