YOU NEED TO FIX THE INPUT/COMMAND ISSUES
So sick of this game. I am all the way to Bayle but have been noticing an issue for some time. Seems this game is absolute trash at input translation and more times then I can count the game refuses to execute the commands given or does them literally seconds after. It is not game lag, PC lag or any issue. I recorded several Legend kills with inputs and saw that so many times I hit dodge and either the game did not perform it or was 1 second off. Also see it a ton when trying to use a health flask or call in a ghost or whatever its called. Seen a lot about it on youtube where players are saying DODGE jacka$$ and it wont do it or does it later then commanded.
I honestly think this is their difficulty multiplier as in the normal game I would see the issue only come up on 3 out of the 6 bosses but each run through it was different bosses. 50% of them literally responded like you had mind control and the other 50% had turned retarded.
I tested this on a modded game that was set to level 700 something (max all attributes) with 100% every weapon and went through each boss with each weapon type and of course 50% had the input delays and the other didnt. Different each profile.
I do believe this is why people have such a difficult time with bosses in this game. Remnant for instance translates inputs perfectly 100%. You dodge and if done right you dont get hit but here doesnt matter how well timed as the game refuses to accept the input.
PS5 tested
PC tested with M/KB and PS5 controller. PC is a I9 9900, 32gb Ram, 1tb NVME and a 4090 running 2k. PC controls using USB C connections and all top tier corsair.

Issue is the crap input translation and command queuing or how they are doing it

Your keyboard is the issue. Been playing since release with the same KB/M and there's no delay at all
Don't tell me you didn't know that it's roll on release, not roll on press.

While the game is notorious for input drops (apparently due to a "fix" for a DS3 bug), losing 50% of your inputs is excessive. Check your hardware and drivers.

If you panic and randomly press buttons, keep in mind the input queue is a priority queue, attacks take precedence over rolls, and rolls take precedence over movement
Input queue exists as P. said. Also, roll is on release, not press.
Also also, skill issue :steammocking: No fancy hardware will make you play better, just keep calm, don't panic and enjoy gitting gud.
The game does drop inputs but outside of block cancelling a lot and trying to roll out of being multi hit its pretty rare. Also in revnant I believe hit detection is on the host side so if you join someones game it can lead to you getting hit by an enemy even if you dodged an attack on your end.

Indeed. I too noticed the game dropping/ignoring input, but keeping calm, and not panic pressing buttons helps. I have seen some cases that the DLC that straight out ignores the input because it all ready have queued an enemy counter (cheating basterds) =)
