prophet incantations question

Hello,

I don't find an answer on internet, might be some of you know.

when using incantation black flame for example if I press "shoot" it shoots normal ball but if I hold fire for a while it gets bigger . But I don't see any difference, is it just graphics? I doesn't do more damage or anything...

Some spells and skills can be charged to increase their power by holding attack button.

Black Flame does more damage and deals damage to nearby targets when charged.

Try to find enemy with high health or group of smaller enemies
and you will see the difference.

By the way that spell is excellent boss killer all the way to the end.

The scaling modifier gets slightly higher when you charge it but if your faith or talisman are low then you will barely see an increase.
