frame drops

I've never had issues with elden rings performance but all of a sudden its been plummeting down to single digit fps and will freeze for a second or two, this happens every 20 seconds or so. Anyone know how to fix this?

getting the same on a 5080 at 2k or 4k. just seems to be the games optimisation since DLC?

what’s your specs? i started a new playthrough a couple weeks ago and the game was running really well. some frame stutters still but otherwise no complaints. 13900k/4080 playing @2k.

try, first select win + r then type prefetch and delete and then %temp% and then temp and then in last type recent.
