Stuttering with high end pc. I want to play Seamless coop

It worked fine in Dezember but now i cant play the base game or seamless coop.
Its annoying when you run a pc with really good hardware and have a game that not even let you get 60FPS consistent.

My hardware:
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (8x 4.7GHz / 5.2GHz Turbo)
Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 black
MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK Wifi
64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 AMD/Intel 6000MHz Kingston Fury Beast CL30
1TB SAMSUNG 990 PRO M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVME (L 7450MB/s ; S 6900MB/s
2TB SAMSUNG 990 PRO M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVME (L 7450MB/s ; S 6900MB/s
24GB Gigabyte RTX4090 Aero OC, weiß
Grafikkarte wird nicht montiert geliefert!
1000W Gigabyte AORUS Elite Platinum ICE P1000W Platin, weiß

installed on the 2TB 1TB is for windows.

With this i struggle to play the game how? A friend with a worst pc get better it with no stuttering

Any fix for this because its 100% dev side the problem.
I cant have the game open than go to Task manager and change the processor affinity or priority. I get the message Acces denied.

what i did I put it on graphics settings on high priority.
Than in the steam folder under compatibility tab i checked the Disable fullscreen optimizations and under change high DPI settings I checked the Override high DPI scaling bevavior, scaling performed by : application.

I hope someone got a fix for this so i can play again Seamless coop and The Convergence mod with a friend.

2. Friend with lower end PC has no problems.
3. I have very close to the same specs and have no issues (I have a AMD 7950X CPU).

Yet "100% dev side the problem.

I ran tech support teams for years and this very much pints to a local machine issue. The first step is analyzing what changed on your system since the last time the game ran well.
1. Did you do a major Windows update since December?
2. When is the last time you video drivers were updated?
3. Did you make any antivirus/security changes?
4. Look at what software has been installed since the last time it ran well. Is there a weird conflict?

Edit: Also, NEVER make a bunch of changes at once. Make one change such as fullscreen vs windowed, test, revert back if no difference. Once you make a bunch of changes you have no idea what the real culprit was.

Good question I have no clue.
1. Major windows update. I installed the window 11 updates that came when I shut down the pc. and I upgraded my Bios and changed my Memory power down enable to disable. But i think i changed it before i played last time.
2. I get a graphic driver update today. "after i already had the problem"
3. Not sure.
4. I installed games and uninstalled some.
help this in some way?
And i sayed it was dev side. because I didnt change much since the problem and the last time i had a problem like this was with battlefield 2042 and the problem was dev side.

With EAC I always get noticeable stutters. With it off it's almost perfect

how to deactivate it. and can i use it the this method to play seamless or reforger.... because you have a special start client for the Reforger and The Convergence mod?

Base game rename "start_protected_game.exe" to something else, then copy eldenring.exe and rename it to "start_protected_game.exe"

Then launch through Steam as normal, but you'll have to be offline. I don't know how it works with mods

I would say didnt help. Game still stutter/fps drop from 60 to 30.... God i hate this game for this bad performance. a 4090 cant play this game xD

You might have a trojan or something then. On my 3080 Max everything it stays at least in the 50's

i am not so sure thats i got a virus. when Elden Ring is the only game with a problem.

diese hardware sollte keinerlei probleme mit dem game haben.

das Board ist nur ein erweitertes x670e (USB 4.0 chipset add) was in etwa genauso gut laufen sollte wie mein Tomahawk x670e mit einem 7950x3d. Bios ist uptodate ? die meisten Boards brauchen für den neuen gaming mode der 9000er CPUs ein bios update da sie nicht mit dem neusten bios ausgeliefert werden. Die primäre SSD ist auf dem 5.0 m.2 slot installiert ?
SAM/resizebar ist aktiviert ?
der RAM steckt in den korrekten slots (slot 2 und 4).

Effekte in diesem spiel sind komplett über directx eingeschleift daher benötigen sie weit höhere Bandbreiten als bei den meisten anderen spielen, wenn obig genannte Hardware konfigurationen ok sind bleiben nur noch diese Ursachen übrig:

irgendwas im Hintergrund blockiert Bandbreite.

This is a pro tip. Do this every time you need to troubleshoot anything.

Does your friend have an AMD CPU too?

I can run this game with everything on max in 4K 60fps, except ray tracing is turned off.

Ich hab mir den PC bei Dubaro geholt zusammengebaut also nur Grafikkarte an dem freien slot einbauen. Bin 1x umgezogen wo ich grafikkarte ausgebaut hab. Andere Spiele laufen alle einwandfrei. Bios hatte ich auch geupdated bios update vom 2024-11-21 "das 4 von oben" von der Seite: https://de.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X870-TOMAHAWK-WIFI/support#bios keine ahnung wie viel impact das neueste hätte. werd es wohl gleich mal machen aber sonst.

sam ist eine bios einstellung um 4 mal mehr daten an die gpu zu senden mit einem transfer, sollte aktiviert werden um die bandbreite zu entlasten (weniger cpu cyclen notwendig um die selbe menge an daten an die gpu zu senden).

mit der information das elden ring mehr bandbreite ein direkter leistungsvergleich zwischen spielen ist nicht möglich.
