These undead drakes in the dlc
I'm assuming I can't bleed them. What about fire ?

I'm arcane/bleed and managed the drake near the start zone handily enough. He's only a mini-boss though and by way of comparison another of my toons absolutely melted him with holy. Holy isn't really much of an option without re-speccing for faith.

weapon greese, the damage may not be top of the line, but it is still more damage

Go to Altus, grab sacred order, slap it on a dagger in your offhand and then hit them with whatever you normally would in your main hand

Sacred order gives 10% bonus damage to all damage you deal (spells, ashes, even some tools) and importantly gives you a massive bonus to damage against undead (which includes the ghostflame dragons)

Also you can stack it with itself (throw it on another weapon in your main hand) and Last Rites if you’re able to use Golden Epitaph.

Damn..... almost 1000 hours in and there's still so much I don't know. Still, it adds faith scaling :(. Must see if I can use it with occult.

You don't have to use the weapon. Sacred Order, and for that matter Shared Order and the Golden Epitaph's version of Sacred Order called Last Rites, all these buffs are applied to your character, not the weapons, so you can cast them and then take out your real weapon and they will still receive the 10% damage, 25 holy, and +50/100% damage to Undead for the 60 second duration.

SO I tried this : put the weapon with Sacred Order onto my offhand greatsword. Two hand it, hit the skill, and then switch it back to my offhand. I note that it does lose its 'glow', so I'm not sure if it's still active or not. My mainhand weapon having Sacred Blade, I'm doing so much frigging damage it's hard to see if I'm getting an increase or not.

Body buff, eh ? Does it override Sacred Vow ??

edit : According to fextra, it's a weapon buff.

"Elden Ring Sacred Order Guide, Notes & Tips
This is an Ash of War Skill, associated with the Ash of War: Sacred Order.
FP Cost: 18
This Skill is not Chargeable
Damage +10% in PVE, and 2.5% in PVP
Deals +100% damage to undead icon 40px Undead type enemies and prevents Skeletons from reviving
Duration: 60 seconds.
Counts as a Weapon Buff."

Edit :

Evidently Last Rites is an Aura buff. So get that weapon, use the skill, then swap out.

If you killed jori. Use the Holy machine gun with the sacred scorpion charm :csgogun:

Or use fire giant Hunt/rot Grease or change your weapon ART stat to default and use Holy Greases.

I'm waiting for a Holy Hand Grenade so I can go full Python.

Sorry, I totally misremembered that Last Rites is somehow differently counted than Sacred Order. Kind of ridiculous, but that does mean that they're able to stack on each other. And, even if you put Sacred Order on a weapon, you don't *need* to make it Sacred or Lightning, you're still able to keep it Standard/Keen/Heavy/Quality if you've got the whetstones.

What I'm thinking is to just carry that short sword with Last Rites on it, use the skill and then swap out. Sounds like a good deal for all my toons, at least when they're fightin' those undead ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
