why this game's pvp is so trash compared to ds3 and ds2?

I mean... It's pretty standard for the franchise - PvP is just universally bad in these games because eventually people figure out some stupid OP meta and just do nothing but that, the meta in question aimed to not let the opponent play either by killing them instantly or stunlocking.

The biggest offender this time around is Bleed, however. Everyone runs bleed, even Greatsword users. It's insufferable. Powerstancing is kinda cringe too. No one wants to fight fair and proper, it's just switch to dual Reduvias and weeeeeee.

Bleed should've been nerfed long ago to deal half the damage it deals now. With how easily it can be proceed with right builds - it would be totally reasonable and not automatically make any bleed weapon an S-tier.

tbh many things in the past games still counter-able if you know your tools and weapons. tbh the huge problem of souls pvp is the trash netcode. but tbh elden ring has lot more issues than past games. past games's issue are mostly netcode problems.

plus the unpunishable stuffs elden ring has just outnumbered the thing the past games can punish.

you just need 22 adp not much to be able to survive the entire game but yeah the stats is just too important. i think people just need to stop complaining about these and just simply adapt and overcome even if the stuffs in it feels iffy.

In the souls game, there are a lot of arbitrary 'in-between gates' blocking the path of any given-player. If someone is running, eventually they are backed into a corner.

ahh yeah the host running away type of crap after their lackeys is dead. or the type that only running around in circle being passive. tbh that's why i prefer the old wolf area for dueling. for invading i prefer crucifixion woods

I'm sorry, but I think you can see how "people should just deal and adapt to the game not being well-made" is not a compelling argument.

DS2:SotFS was my first soulslike ever and the one that started the addiction: I played through it multiple times and have fond memories of it, but I also fully concede that it earned the title of "the ugly duckling of the family" fair and square and most criticisms of it are accurate to this day.
But PvP is not one of them, some-f*king-how.

I'm sorry, but I think you can see how "people should just deal and adapt to the game not being well-made" is not a compelling argument.

that video has debunk the hitbox argument. yeah some features maybe ass but he game is still playable
