That is the point! Blasphemous Blade is greatsword and it hits harder, it hits faster, it has better skill and better scaling. Duh.
I agree that Blasphemous is the better weapon. But it'd almost have to be, it's one of the best weapons in the game.
But it's not a colossal weapon. Godslayer is, and compared to other colossals it is much improved.
But how do you even use triple attribute scaling weapons? Because even NG+ is not enough to full spec even two attributes without disregarding VGR, END, MND - if game is played normally. So unless you guys farm runes (I know some use some afk rune farming) or you're talking NG+++ and onwards. Because I've tested all these weapons and there was just not enough stat points to properly build either of them on NG+ (and especially on NG)
People still PVP in this game? I have up after fighting against rivers of blood, madness builds, and some avid frost and rot dragon breath spammers. Waste of time, especially with no covenenants.
it's on wiki: https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Weapons+Comparison+Tables
Pick correct max infusion for your relevant weapon, and check "Sta" (which stands for stagger damage). Infusion is standard for all somber weapons as you can't change it, for all regular weapons you should check heavy for max stagger.
Godslayer Greatsword has 120 stagger damage vs ~160 stagger damage on colossal swords with strength scaling. Obviously the highest stagger damage comes from blunt colossal weapons.
Regular greatswords and Great Hammers were outshining them anyway. Both PVE/PVP.
Was needed. Good change from FROM :D
Please keep in Mind the Jump attacks were unchanged. Not buffed
Then again maybe you can powerstance jump L1 everything to oblivion... Hmm...
You can stagger end game bosses with colossal weapons - can confirm
For those you can't figure that out at all, welcome to pure str builds with seven + buffs coming at you with pure immortality thanks to boosted damaged reduction talis.
That is a pvp thing though, so this will be good fun cheese in pve regardless of anything else.
