I don't think it will stop them for long. They're just gonna have to find new skips, or maybe glitchless will become a category now.

A lot of speed runners have been staying on 1.02 already because From fixed the ash of war that buffs damage affecting other weapons (and their Ash of War) such as Sword of Night and Flame. Fixing Pegasus only makes them even more likely to stay on 1.02.

to be fair tho, i ve never bothered with the variant to jump off of torrent onto safety while he takes a dip below. if that s still viable it s just a matter of time til a simple glitch reproduction is coming about.

he s not showing up anymore after jumping off and logging out tho, so there s that

Ok, so they've probably just made it harder to replicate.
Rather than it being a 2 step setup before. (Jump off, quit out, and then position yourself to drop Torrent to death)
It probably needs to be done in a single sequence. (Without quit out)

Not all speedrunners downpatch though, as there's a few that runs current patch. They're gonna have a lot of work to do in finding new skips.
