Because most "Soul Vets" keep failing to realize this is a Open World Game...and are trying to get thru it as low level as possible, while making sure their damage is enough to kill everything within a short time-frame.

So they will rely on Crutch builds *once they get nerfed, hoo boy is it gonna be fun in these forums* or on Ashes/2 Cooperators to carry them thru.

think it depends on your build, on a high str character u will have more physical defense, but get melted by magic damage and vice versa ofc

anything below 40, some would say 60 but I just don't see the benefit over eg wearing a dragoncrest since a larger HP bar doesn't change the amount of damage you take

Significantly under 50. 40~ish vigor means you get 2 hit comboed to death.

My first run was a standard melee and it was fine. It got me to the end credits with 40 Vigor. I'm working my way through the last part of the game now on my second run with a mage assassin, 33 Vigor, 40 Mind 76 Int and it's frickin hilariously overpowered compared to the previous quality melee build. You have to fight completely differently of course, but so much fun

The ammount of ROB abuse I've seen on this area was legendary, seemed like nobody wanted to engage the enemies traditionally and would rather have them all bleed stunlocked from a distance and chug some blue from area to area.

Yeah, scrubs go 80 arc on 100lvl to spam their stupid katanas and then they go here crying that everything oneshots them

The best case of "level your vigor!" I've seen so far, was a duel at around level 125 where one of the contestants only had 290 HP, lol. It made me wonder which starting class even has that little vigor, he was casting fire sorceries so I guess he was an astrologer.
