Proof: literally all dmg reduction rings which they are very much confortable dropping from 10 percent effectivity to a mere 5 percent, when facing against another player, if they can do it with that they can do exactly the same with everything else.
As you've stated it is a singleplayer experience first and foremost, so if you're not comfortable with such changes would they exist, then you simply don't need to interact with the online. :)
It isn’t cheese, but it is very annoying. A colossal weapon should fight like a colossal weapon. It just feels like they may as well equip a spear instead if all they want to do is crouch-poke. It’s nice that colossal swords are now more competitively viable than ever, but it’s sad that the only way From could do it is by turning them into Great Spears.
I miss DS3 back when freeaiming was fun
You don't understand. You see, OP is the absolute bestest, so anything that consistently beats him has to be cheese and this totally isn't a skill gap issue.
If you want a duel go set it up with friends, PVP is about winning, not letting you decide what is fair, there is next to no balance in this game just like all the others, this is a PVE game with PVP added as a sugar coating!
You must be new to the Dark Souls series.
There is such a thing as honor, you know? Refusing to use the top-of-the-line meta isn’t a requirement, it’s just good manners.
You’re not a cool big guy because you use a Rivers of Blood or dual-wield Cross-Naginatas. You’re just a loser who can’t resist your neurotic urge to be as efficient as possible. Like eating dinner with friends and scarfing down your food instantly; technically not wrong, but completely ignorant of social conventions.
“No, no, I like sitting alone during lunch at school. No distractions. I can focus on my meal.” You were the type of dude to hum “pumped up kicks” under your breath in the halls weren’t you lmao
Short-sighted and cancerous. Your kind are a tumor.
Yet durp durp describes the majority of post. That makes the entirety of Elden Ring forums a cancer.
I consider cheese bringing stuff like Rivers of Blood dual curved swords kept purposely at +0 as cheese: stuff that's taking advantage of players who just don't have a build going yet in the starting area of the game.
Honestly, I don’t have a problem with dual curved swords, since they’re so short. Rather, a much bigger problem are dual spears, specifically the Cross-Naginata. Range, speed, damage, and bleed buildup, all at the same time.
