Your top 3 hardest bosses
For me it would be:

1.- Malenia: She is one hell of a test of skill, any mistakes can punish you badly, both cause you lose HP and she recovers HP, ultimately a fight that requires a lot of patience and to be on your toes to defeat.

2.- Mogh: He LOVES to delay his attacks which have a surprisingly large range, so outpacing him is basically impossible, and his incantations do a large amount of dmg which also requires you to be aware of your surroundings to not get affected by the AOE left on the floor, and also of the bleed meter.

3.- Radagon: Similar to Malenia, hes a test of skill and patience, learning his combos and delays, hes challenging and not someone you can get greedy with, the only thing bringing him down is that he is basically just a first phase of a double fight, and lets be honest, the real final boss, Elden Beast sucks.

I kinda refused to include duo fights, since the issues with those are more of a balance issue rather than difficulty, Godskin Duo and Double Crucible being the prime examples.

Melania- Great lore and community notoriety...also, her flurry attack is dodgable..hard to, but dodgable without a shield.

Margit-Very underrated boss because he's the first great, but his moveset is brilliant. You can tell they took a long time on him if you low level him and learn to fight him properly.

Mogh- he's just badass I'm general. His bleed move midway is cheap but he's optional and so isn't the tear your suppose to have on order to fight him. His arena is cool as hell to. Plus you get a whopping 450,000 runes from him. Radagon and Elden Beast only give 500,000 combined.

Oh that was my favorite bosses lol.

Here's my hardest

#1-Elden Beast
This guys an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥..nuff said

#2-Gargoyales- had a bleed build...nuff said

#3-crystylian trio- just because that spear dude drove me mad. ♥♥♥♥♥ so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying when tryna focus on the caster.
Its actually better to hard focus on the spear guy, since hes the only one that aggressively follows you, once hes gone, the other two crystalians are easy.

1. Astel, his damage is kinda nutty and he tps away which is annoying. His hp is pretty high as well.

2. Radagon and Elden Beast, specifically Elden Beast Radagon himself is not that bad just drains some resources if you get hit. Immune to status effects, tps away, hits you with ranged sh..tuff all the time it's just annoying.

3. Morgott - It's worth mentioning I fought Morgott at a really low RL (I think I was 40) so it was much tougher for me than it probably should have been. It took about 4 hours for me to kill him. Quick attacks, dashes away, and bringing the npc summon was a gamble on if it was useful or died instantly.

1- Mogh. Probably the worst hitboxes I've seen in Elden Ring. I'm used to more accurate hitboxes in this game so I'll always get hit by attacks that aren't even aiming at me, and trying to get some space in order to heal will trigger Margit's CNT behaviour of instantly swapping from melee attacks to ranged attacks, resulting on never ending combos that also dirt the scenario.
Mogh took me around 15 attempts and I ended up using a spirit summon.

2- Malenia. I always get slowed down a lot on the 2nd phase due to her sometimes doing never ending combos at this phase. I either kill her on a very clean fight or end up dying. Malenia took me around 10 attempts to solo her.

3- Godfrey. His attacks are strongly unpredictable. The game offers several summons for the player to take, which makes the fight strongly easy, although it's a very challenging fight for a no help attempt.
Godfrey took me 2 attempts to kill him. I left him 1hp but he totally beated me (I even used all my flask). For the next attempt I summoned some NPC I hadn't noticed for the first tme and killed him easy.

(Every boss has been ranked according to my NG+ experience, since I beated the NG run spamming the Mimic Tear and so it's not really possible to truly judge bosses' difficulty if they stop representing a challenge. I'd rate for my NG 1- Malenia cuz she took me several attempts even with the mimic tear, 2- Radahn because he took me several attempts, and 3- Godrick for the same reason).

For me, as a sorcery build for my first playthrough. It'd be something like..

1-Malenia
2-Godfrey
3-Radagon/Elden beast

Malenia probably took me 3 hours to beat. Godfrey less so, but still took me a bit. Radagon and Elden beast are hard just because it's a long fight overall, though Radagon is fairly challenging himself.

My second run was with the same build, and I basically just deleted everything on that run. Malenia took me 3 tries, Godfrey and Radagon/Elden beast I both beat on the first try. But they're still my top 3. Maliketh get's an honorable mention though, because in my 2nd run he took me more tries than the other 3.

I thought Melania was easy...

Well... I WAS using a corpse piler spam build when I fought her so I may be biased.

from a RL1 run perspective:

1. morgott
2. godfrey
3. godrick

the rest is surpsingly easy in comparison.
I can see Morgott being really hard for super low health with his bullet hell attacks.
its not even his bullet hell attacks ( they are static anyway and not a problem), its his high variety of attacks he can mix and match, a hard but fair and amazing fight.

1. Mohg, blood lord - I hate bosses with status effects and needless to say I did not fare well against him. Took me like 3 hours to beat him and I will never forget that he gives 420k runes. The Omen however, I defeated in first try.

*bosses with LINGERING AoE's with status effects. Let's make the fight more engaging and paint the arena! He deserved a special mention in my review of the game, togehter with his half- sister in-law's** self-healing oneshot move.

** was GRRM Martin involved in the lore or something?

In order of attempts:

1. Malenia
2. Margit
3. shared by many, e.g. Ulcerated Tree Spirit, Tree Sentinel, Death Rite Bird, Black Blade Kindred

I two-tried Godfrey today, then first-tried Radagon & Elden Beast. Solo no ashes/summons. My greatshield, greatsword, guard counter & Redmane Flames kept breaking stances. Yes, with the nerfed Greatshield Talisman.

I think Malenia was the only one where I felt I needed more DPS than my normal quick attack. The only time I focused on having more stance-breaking crit hits.
