Mohg the Omen
So , the hardest part about this fight is the chairs and stools spread around the room that will prevent you from properly manuvering around .I feel like there are several fights in the game where the devs used super lame tactics to make the fight that exponentially harder. This being one of them. Anyway to totally cheese this fight as its clearly rigged and I have no problem cheesing through it

For a roller pig you can't roll.
Señor Brown Apr 17, 2022 @ 9:54am
Roll through all of the obstructions on one side, and then turn around to roll through everything on the other side.

Then, you engage Mohg.

Why is covering a battlefield with obstacles "lame?"

I undeerstand how to break them. It's doing it between the half room AoE fire, the 70% health stagger hits and jabs and swats with his trident that make it tough. If i could clear the room before the fight started this post doesnt exist

its a weak tactic in a super dark room with a boss that is 100% unosbtructed by anything, that I can not "back peddle" when there is a 1 lb wood stool behind me and he lands his stun lock combo as he walk through anything and his attacks can even penetrate through the pillars. Id say thats not a fair fight. Im not playing mario brothers here

Yeah a lot of bosses have unique zones that are directly very silly. Some standard weapon drop npcs have this as well. Bleed wheel npc will make you jump backwards into the middle table displays.

It's not that big an issue when you learn to roll around the mechanics. Some more annoying ones would be the flying sword boss, but even he you can just roll into, and learn to avoid most entirely.

i beat him. I did it in co-op, I just dont like too unless Im farming. hes super easy 2v1. The thing about that fight is his attacks are so random and delayed. If you panic roll even once you can get staggered and basically stun locked to death. So always rolling (if your mellee at least) isnt always an option. Matter of fact, its mostly not until he throws his attacks. Ranged seem to have a cake walk with most boss fights and this game in general. I had a vision of Bow being much more powerful than it is... anyways...Dex build. I rely mostly on spacing, timing obv, and THEN rolling. Im sure you understand

just wait till you fight the real mohg with his real move set. but also the boss isn't that hard? (not saying that in a condescending way) he has minimal attacks and your upset about the benches in the boss arena?

The chairs are there for a reason. Just sit down and talk to the guy. He's having a bad day

Human cooperators can make any boss seem easy. I'm not one to fault a guy for leaning on them, anything goes as far as I'm concerned, but baby Mohg in the sewer is an easy boss solo, if you need help for him there isn't a boss that you don't need human co-op for.
