is there anything i can do to complete his quest? why didn't he stop attacking me when i took him down to 10% HP? I need to get GURRANQ best claw spell

You must have cheated, or not stop attacking him when he said to stop. It's on you. Try the church of vows.

If he killed him, then i think he screwed himself beyond repair.

i just ran outside and used the rot dragon attack, and waited for him to surrender. but he just ran around until he died to rot

he usually does stop attacking after a few attacks.. if he doesnt stop attacking, then leave the area and reload. he has a huge health pool, so killing him on accident shouldnt occur.

He gives up after you hit him for like 50 DMG, you kept going while he was already giving up and now you have made an enemy.

Sounds like you don't pay attention.

loool, of course he did! Why would the rot just stop? It ticks till the bar is empty.

this is an outright lie. i have tried to fight him off and he deals horrible amounts of damage, but i have hit him for hundreds and he did not ever give up

u cheese him with rot then that is ur fault lol rot dont stop when he said stop
and keep getting dot damage from rot = u keep atking him lol so stop use cheese stuff and fight like a man in next NG :)

nah, at this point, i am just going to use a cheat engine or something to give me the spell.

He did give up after only a few hits from me. Sounds like you might have had a glitch? And no, using rot didn't help keep him alive.
