There's also Prayerful Strike, which while not a gradual heal will occur over the course of the fight with no player input.
Does holy ground heal other mobs and bosses too?
The Seed Talisman (From the Royal Capital Lift chest) if equipped when you summon the Tear will copy and give the Mimic a very small HoT.
If you wear the Deathbed Dress you will heal the mimic while it is nearby at about the same rate as the Seed Talisman.
Prayerful Strike on a weapon will trigger a small heal
Holy Ground is a healing Pool but good luck getting the mimic to stand in it.
Beyond that the Heal spells do work and any healing items you have equipped will be copied and used by the mimic however it like to just nom the hell out of them for no use.
These are decent for general clearing off open world or dungeons when you can replenish your FP but have less use on boss fights. I prefer to cust buffs on me and my summon rather than heal, Golden Vow, Protection of the Erdtree, any Fortification incantation to reduce specific elemental damage, etc.
Mogh's great rune is another passive heal option for your summon.
Or you can hold many healing items, spells and summon mimic tear & hope it cast those. Not exactly passive healing that you ask for but it's something
I can't think of anything else.
I think only people on your "team" (that is, people who can't hit you), so you should be good
You can set your summon up with spells on them that they might use to heal or buff the party, or themselves. They can do that though it's random rng unless you summon it with 'only that option' for it.
Again yes anything that would heal in area of effect for co-op will work on summon, and summon can be manipulated to use only that too. Gl hf
