how do i swap to the night ability of the night and flame sword

You need to rebind some key, like for example add a keyboard keybind for light attack. You can't use it because the stance key is shift, but shift+left click is also heavy attack. If you also bind light attack to something like F, then shift+F will work.

But anyway it's whatever the button you used to go into the stance is, and then your normal light attack button instead of the heavy attack button.

I tried it in Dark Souls 1 and it was HORRIBLE.

I had thought using the mouse might help with aiming the bow but it didn't.
