"You cannot proceed without more Great Runes" (capital city door)

I ran to the city door trying to get a acheivement and got this so i got godricks great rune and activated it and rune of the unborn, the door is still shut so i got Rykards and Radahns runes and actived both, the door still wants more great runes, any idea whats going on here? never had a problem on other playthroughs

Nevermind if this happens to anyone else go back to gatefront and talk to melenia to accept her deal, that and getting access to the round table fixes it.

Yup, you HAVE to have gone to Roundtable Hold atleast once for the gate to disappear
