About Saint Trina's sword

Hi there! My doubt is the following. I got Saint Trina's sword that inflicts torpor on enemies and am trying to use in on bosses. I upgraded it at the smith and I can see it escalates in destrerity, strength and intelligence. I was wondering: is it intelligence that boosts its torpor effect in the same way that arcane boosts bleeding in blood-based blades like katanas? I've given vwey few points to intelligence in my build so i was wondering if it's worth leveling it up when it comes to this sword's torpor effect. Thanks!

As far as I know, the only stat that affects status buildup is arcane

But, Trina's sword does not escalate in arcane at all, according to its file, only dexterity, strength and intelligence.

I know... Doesn't change that, unfortunately, weapons that don't scale with arcane, does not have any way of increasing status buildup
