I am familiar with how the vans work from ds3. Really not bothered about pvp and co op.
(Experimented with PvP, had my fill. Co op meh)
Playing blind and its playable as is, just looking to get a smoother frame rate by maybe disabling anti cheat and lowering grass. Cant make it lower than medium in settings
most graphic settings dont make much off a difference, according to performance guide and also tested it, without eac and playing offline i was able to 720p -->1080p with simular framerate and settings
Does this mean you disabled anti cheat and was able to go from 720p to 1080p?
something like that yea, also since you cant play online like that it saves u from displaying all the bloodstains, messages, player ghosts, for my potato machine it made a difference in performance
On my R5 2600/RTX 2070 PC, i get up to 10FPS more (from ~50FPS running around Nokstella up to 60FPS), if i bypass EAC. Your mileage may vary, depending on your system config and other quality-settings.
It's hard to tell, though, how much of this is down to EAC or just unoptimized online-features. Perhaps a little bit of both, but i refuse to hop onto the "EAC-bad" circlejerk just yet. Pulling the plug in-game with EAC running does not seem to improve performance. Bypassing EAC does, but so does re-starting Steam in offline-mode with EAC running, albeit slightly worse, which might just be down to margin of error.
Edit: Steam has to be online for achievements to pop. Wether or not the game itself is online doesn't matter. It's worth keeping in mind, if you care about that. Bypassing EAC works around this.
Thanks :)
Thanks, I will try opening steam offline and playing offline as the first port of call.
In similar games, you just get moved to a "cheater" server so if you and your friend get banned you might have better luck with co op
