A question about the area in limgrave First step

I was summoned in there as a hunter but I can't find where the host is I can see him on the radar pointing me that the host is in the catacombs where we first came out, idk if the host was inside because of the fog blocking and it doesn't look like the host is at the top either.. Whats going on in limgrave??

there are multiple spot you should check up on youtube how to find and kill them

Probably on a ledge near the beach's horse jump pad, likely unreachable unless u have the noob busting cannon

The statue on top of the monument is "hollow," they can hide inside it. You can bombard them with the Ballista/Jar Cannon using explosive greatbolts, standing in the circle on the closest corner of the flat fallen ruins near where the Tree Sentinal spawns.
