i played modded elden ring a bit ago with my friends but when i uninstall every mod and tried to re lord my old save from before i modded it the game wont go pass the main menu i even wiped me save and got a fresh one from my friend to just try to play the game but it still wont work. anyone have a fix or any ideas? (fixed thanks for the help guys!)

Delete the entire save folder, not just the save file and launch the game again. Create a random character and close the game, then replace this new save with your old one or friend's one.

Depending on how long ago, your save may be too old for recent patches but this shouldn't really be a thing.
