i am having issues with enemies all of a sudden that are usually utterly easy and so on i never had any trouble with enemies in this apart from some bosses like wtf????

nope fresh start with 1 of my chars would be like my 10th fresh rerun i think but i did reach ng+6 with one of my chars hadnt any issues there maybe i am just getting rusty or something xddd

also depends on build, weapons and upgrades! so yes sounds like a bit rusty

NG+ scaling is very weak relative to fresh NG. In other words, the first playthrough on any given build tends to be the hardest. Try resting and coming back mentally rejuvenated.

Probably just rusty, but could also be lack of experience with whatever weapon you started with.

I recently started with a Prophet who uses Short Spear and my god, this thing SUCKS, i basically force myself to kill the Tree Sentinel before doing anything else, and that stupid spear made it considerably harder than any other class i have started with.

but is it upgraded as you main has prob got it fully levelled

Game did not get harder....

spears however are pretty bad weapons unless you use them for status inflict
base damage of normal spears is clownish bad

i even made thread few weeks after relase how a +7 spear looted from patches is worse overall than a +0 starting Katana

if you have trouble you just got rusty.
dont try to make a conspiracy theory out of nothing

In fact there is not 1 day i didnt laugh at least 5min about stuff on the internet ;)

but making a post about if the game got patched harder
didnt trigger my humor levels.

Maybe you got used to "fully built char" on NG+ cycles and now you are rusty because you used to have too much HP and armor to allow that much leniency and not on fresh new NG you dont have all that and may be getting punished harder by your mistakes.

Off topic, but I'd like to say that I find the spear and greatshield build to be the second easiest way to beat Souls games. After a sorceress, of course.

It's not the fastest way to kill anything, but who cares when nothing really hurts you?
