Can't use ANY weapon skill

As the title says i cant use ANY skill in the game. I've been trying for hours but i can't seem to make it work. I try the torch, jellyfish shield skill or any other weapon skill which i do have the stats required, but as soon as i hit the skill button (ctrl or L2 if i hook up my PS4 controller) my character puts the left weapon in, rolls in the air, smashes the ground with his hands, then draws the left weapon. This happens even when i hold the weapon with 2 hands. I tried removing any other gear and i even tried to make a new character in case i had something on my main character that prevents me from using skills, but i always get the same move. I reset the keybindings (not that i had changed any) but nothing changes. If i try to activate the skill using 2 hands, i get the same move BUT i lose the FP. I'll provide a link for you to see what my char does.

All AOW Lion Claw Bug Fix
I got this bug after updated to patch 1.07 last night both my modded and vanilla save file, here how i fix this bug:

1. Play steam on online mode
2. Verify your elden ring game files
3. Restart steam
4. Play ER online (don't use mod or anything, just vanilla)
5. If you play offline before , change launch setting from offline to online and login
6. Start new game or play not modded character
7. Done

Note:
- make sure in update information (in bottom right main menu) say "update 1.07, calibrations 1.07". If it say "update 1.07 calibration 1.06" that the culprit.

- if you have seamless co-op remove all files from your folder

Thanks for your answers guys...I can't go online because my 280X can't support DX12 so i had to change a file or two in order to make it work and get past the WSOD problem. The game runs but it sees the file tampering so it disables online mode. This said, if i'm gonna fix this it has to be offline.

EDIT: FILE VERIFICATION DID THE TRICK. NOW BOTH UPDATE AND CALIBRATION ARE 1.07 AND I CAN FINALLY USE SKILLS. GOD I SPENT ALL NIGHT TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE...NEVER THOUGHT I HAD TO CHECK THE FILES, EVERYTHING I DID WAS IN-GAME. THANKS AGAIN!!!
