Magma Blade +10: 528
coulda been a crit or headshot or something? i dont know how crits work
but yeah, i decided to test it as in pvp quicker weapons are just better, and i noticed my greatsword was doing very minimal damage, despite stat wise being literally the best greatsword in terms of damage, and being able to apply ash of wars. with a flame build my AR with the great sword is 876 compared to magma blades AR of 727.
even sadder dual wielding two magma blades at +10 blows like every greatsword and some colossal weapons out the water with 1000+ damage and this is at SL 224 where people should be rather speced in vigor or armor, while the great sword still does like 500 damage per light swing and i only even hit 900 on a fully charged heavy swing. (the dual magmas hit near 1700 in PVP with a fully charged heavy.
also worth noting the test was on PVE enemies unless stated otherwise.
Put your stats, weapons etc in the values. Fiddle around and test to see.
Thank you for the link.
This helped me to realize that the game need more balancing.
Bloodhand’s Fang currently does almost the same damage as collossal grafted sword.
Collossal weapons and swords should be visibly stronger than lighter, quicker weapons, that swing faster, require less stats and use less stamina.
If I’m using this correctly, Grafted Blade Greatsword is the best weapon for a 40/40 quality build? Omitting int, faith, and arcane weapons. And of course ashes of war.
