Summoning pool for Fallingstar Beast?
Is there an effigy nearby to do coop at Mt Gelmir?

The closest one I believe is actually on the other side of the crater. Road of Iniquity is the closest Grace to it, but I haven't tested this myself. I'm not sure if the multiplayer fog barriers block you from going back up to the Fallingstar Beast.

So far I know there is no summoning pool for this one.
Personally I prefer to fight it with spirit ashes, because then I can use the spirit jump with Torrent to get up to the boss.

Someone did summon me for this boss, they used the effigy near the cliff with the demi humans and runebear and lead me past the demi human queen's arena,(she wasn't there) and lead me on the loop to the top

coop can happen anywhere so you can always call on someone to help and put their sign down, the cross is just for people looking fro random coop anywhere

That boss was a pain in the ass. I ended up using a mimic to hold aggro and ride on torrent to do damage.

First Mt.Gelmir campsite is the closest one to that gravity beast. Ask for help openly and try to summon someone there? (with his sign up). Just set a password and ask for help.

Can't you just summon at Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite when summoning via password ?

There should be no problem with that. Even if the helped/helper finished the game nothing will change in Gelmir at all.

Dont forget the loot the scavenger sword!
