My mom won't let me play Elden Ring

First of all, I need to give some context, I'm Bi (They/Them) and so have struggled with Difficulties my entire life. In spite of that my mom won't let me play Elden Ring and threw away my gaming PC which I built myself. This has been making me feel really tired and angry recently. I keep blanking out. She says it's in my best interest, maybe the game is too violent.. I don't do chores and she can go outside and exercise herself. No mom, simple as that!!! Now I think I should get some money from Fromsoft for this situation because they got me addicted to their game.

I mean, I understand the sentiment of it but that's just internet forums and the likes unfortunately. I mean, a jester or a clown isn't inherently a bad thing, they're meant to provide entertainment!

The actual thing I *want* to say is: Steam points are used for decorating your profile. Don't like someone's take? Just ignore it and don't give them awards. Giving them awards kinda reinforces that behaviour.

What actually is the point of these points? I'm fairly new to this. It's just to make your profile look nicer if you want right? Can you get games with the points? Change it to money?
