This game is so poorly optimized
Locked at 60fps and constant frame drops no matter how powerful your PC is. I've died so many times during boss fights thanks to frames dipping. Buy on PS5 instead.

Are you using a controller or mouse and keyboard?
I've only had this happen when using a plugged in controller and my PC is not good.

I do use controller, but if that's the only way to fix it then I'd rather just not play.

I've tried many things to try and fix it and my pc is more than capable of running it.

Then... why aren't you getting 60fps? Purposefully leaving out your specs isn't doing you any favors.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
Operating System Windows 11
RAM 32 GB
The game is installed on an SSD

Sorry, and IDK I truly believe I should be getting 60fps but constantly drops even when I'm just sitting at a grace. I don't have raytracing on and have my preset set to medium

Hi! I have a bit of an older PC and use controller to play. I don't have any issues with this game on max settings. Might want to check your GPU software settings. Best of luck!

I have lower specs, and my FPS stays pretty stable. Try checking your task manager while you're playing to see if something else is spiking.

I played on Ps5 and frames drop there too. From Software is just a lazy and greedy company who sells overpriced and unoptimized games.

To fix the FPS drops you need to install a mod from Nexusmods. Search for fix stuttering. From Software don't have the skills to fix their own games.

you have not the skills to find out what is wrong with your system.
It's one of the few AAA that run smoothly and is actually optimized, check your configuration.
Although DLC is heavier on material than base game.

Not sure if its fps drops but the game at some moments for sure feels like it becomes a lot slower.
Maybe its just the way they programed it.

Literally fake news. Game launched like crap, still runs pretty bad all things considered.

Optimized? If you have played the dlc, then you know the final boss alone will obliterate your fps. My 4090 dropped to 35 fps during his nuke.

Your fanboy skills are top notch. From Software doesn't even have the skills to unlock the FPS to more than 60. They're a joke company at this point. Best selling game but they don't want to hire good developers.
