The Torch sounds nice! :) Have already been into Dragonbarrow via two ways. Sellia Tunnels and jumping the chasm.
Need to go there at some point soon as I want the second half of the lift key, but have other stuff to do first. :)
Thanks for the tip on the Torch!
So, so true. Finishing an area as much as possible has been great for me in terms of progression and enjoyment of the game. :)
If Caelid is too hard, guess what, you don't have to be there. You can go anywhere else.
It's option there for you, with a ton of loot to get and you could grab that without even fighting.
In a game that resepects your intelligence and gives you a ton of options between different tier difficulty areas right from the start, which is something not many games do and Fromsoft is famous for that, you complain about having those options?
What is wrong with you? If I'm presented with a giant map where I can explore the middle, go south, west, and east, and one of those areas kick my butt... that's on me, if I continue to struggle, insteat of going somewhere else. You have teleportation right from the start...
You basically demand liniar game progression in an open world game. That's just silly.
There is real beauty in this, people should appreciate that intoxicating sensation of absolute dread after going where you are not supposed to go.
You visit Caelid first time, Rotview balcony. From there you can witness the landscape and a mutant bird staring at you. After unlocking the grace you follow the road but then a whole horde of zombies forces you to take a detour.
You find some ruins in the middle of nowhere, with a imp statue wich means there is something valuable hidden there. You dismount Torrent and a few seconds after two mutant birds start screeching and flying towards you. Of course you die horribly and discover how weak and vulnerable you really are in the most gruesome way posible.
I pity you for real if you cant enjoy this situation and i would pay Elden Ring full price again to get ravaged by mutant birds.
Cookie cut the game for the trendy casuals who can't breathe air without complaining.
When I was totally new to ER I was blown away by those "surprizes" in a positive way. I really enjoyed that the game throws you into the mud and that it isn´t always 100% predictable.
Just escape and forget this place for while.
And dont forget report all mentaly ill posts here for abuse.
Oooh are you doing that on a regular basis? Crom?. We really need a hero like you around buddy. Are you the real deal hero smiting bad hombres?
And come on Caelid is awesome once you know how to deal with the fauna.
