to clarify using any mods online will result in a ban so you have to use them offline, but only the mods that mess with your save file will ban you if you decide to go back online.
but apparently you cant even go online with it, and i did a quick search and a found one thread that said they were banned but they verified their files and they were able to play online, so it wasnt actually a ban in that case.
Dunno why you feel the need to go offline though other then if you just need to because you wont have internet connection.
Do not spread misinformation. Thats all not true, you culd never been banned for going offline/online. One modder/cheater will get banned when online.
I do not own Elden Ring yet but i do own the Dark Souls games and i missed out on the online feature of those but i honestly do not really care as i would play these games as single player and when i buy elden ring i will do the flawless widescreen fix as well so i do not have to play with black boxes on the sides.
So far, I think this is my most enjoyable offline experience in a souls game. The older games just feel empty, but this world feel lived in & dynamic.
