Just cause we have other BS to deal with, doesnt mean it should be brought back, if anything we should fix the rest.
They didn't "fix" the issue. They simply disabled all quick casting other than spamming the same spell (as the OP states). It's a piss poor solution given that you can no longer perform legitimate chain casting such as Lightning Spear > Catch Flame or Carian Slicer > Swift Glintstone Shard. You know, the ones that actually have state in their description: "can be performed without delay after another action"? I'm honestly surprised you would accept such a lazy blanket solution against PvE and PvP, given your efforts to document and argue all of the issues.
It was BS to do something like Bestial Sling into Honed Bolt, or Shard into Comet.
Even then, they made it half assedly since they forgot about Jumping casting.
Btw, based on what i saw, its still possible to chain cast different spells IF they share the same animation, which is fair enough.
And if you actually read my reply, I never said I was upset about Honed Bolt or Comet. I'm referring to the six spells/incantations that explicitly state: "can be performed without delay after another action". You know, the ones that are supposed to legitimately chain cast?
EDIT: formatting
For fun.
