And for runes, something that gives a ton of runes early game is in Caelid by using the teleporter by third church of Marika, running to where fort Faroth is, and using a bleed weapon to kill the giant dragon next to it that is stationary.
If you use the gold pickled fowl foot you can get more runes on kill for them. (lasts about 3 minutes and you can get one from patches’ shop). Not a rune farm since it doesn’t respawn but it’s good. It’s my main source of runes for early game on all my new characters.
If you need more look up the cheeses for the nights cavalry and bell bearing hunter in Caelid, killing both give a total of 90k runes. I used to have an old rune farm I used on my first playthrough in lleyndell at the east capital rampart where I just went through that entire area up until the erdtree avatar area.
