boc questline

I gave him the gold needle, altered rahdan's set, said he's beautiful, talked some more, but he is not asking me for a favor, nor for a larval tear, am I missing something? I reloaded the area twice, quit the game retried, but no talk options. Just alter garments and leave.

EDIT:

I fixed the problem. Apparantly getting into the capital via the sending-gate (and then getting an invader to activate the elevator) makes boc "ask for a favor" at the final meeting point. instead of the wiki stating it can be at other locations.... ((hence the confusion!))

If he's moved to the Leyndell Capital, that's his final location unless you give him a Larval Tear. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you have to beat Morgott or enter the Forbidden Lands to activate to next stage of his quest where you can give him the Larval Tear. Don't do that of course. Instead, use the "You're Beautiful" Pate and he will be loyal to you forever.

It's not a gesture, but a Prattling Pate item.

Warp to Craftsman's Shack on Mt. Gelmir and go Northeast to a nearby village that was attacked by demi humans. The Pate should be on a body.
