Wow Theyve Really Super Nerfed PCR
As a summons, I would help a host defeat him once in about 20 tries before patch. Now its basically every other attempt.

there is a reason why people were saying he was too difficult, he was way overtuned.

For a good reason IMO as he was the last boss in Elden Ring we'd ever face. I loved the fact he was near impossible to fight solo without summons or mimic. I still hope he is solo I havent tried it yet.

it's a terrible boss fight and ending either way. the nerfs didn't do much but make it less of "Radahn rolls a 6 while you are blinded by white flashes everywhere. you die"

the point of a game is to give a fair challenge to the user, if it is causing enough widespread complaints about not being completable it has failed at that fact, hence fixing it so its more in line with how the rest of the game plays.

Fair enough. At least as a summons I can walk into the arena with the host now at the same time without getting blasted after the door.

It was perfect for me too.

Now it has to much openings with those recovery frames added in some moves, is less opressive, the dmg reduced, feels like slow-motion sometimes... he even waits you politely for some seconds at the start of the fight.

I loved how he was pushing the limits constantly of what you were capable of, now its a normal boss in terms of challenge and satisfaction.

They could have fixed some hitboxes and even reducing the lights too (i didnt mind them) and let it be, but this was too far imo.

No problem if anyone likes the new radahn, i sadly do not.

The last attempt, me and another summons just face tanked and whopped PCR while the host watched from afar. The host didnt even clap or react at the end (but he was still moving around). I dont think this is the grande dlc finale hosts are expecting anymore.

I don't know.Looks like the host completed the dlc just like everyone else pre-patch.I'm sure if we asked Miyazaki he would agree.

I think youve missed the point here. Even the host acted shocked he didnt have to do anything. Hard to tell of course but usually they are bouncing up and down with glee.

It's a crappy, boring fight they bodged in because they were running out of time. They even reused an asset. Additionally, because of that, there is very little reason to care about the fight from a story standpoint. Most people just want it over with. It's an annoyance, not a cool experience like Elden Beast or Soul of Cinder or Gwyn or Nashandra (where she enters the fog to fight the player - HER end boss)

You were used to fighting pre-patch PCR. Of course this one will be easier. However, for someone who didn't spend time learning PCR already, this new version of the boss will be much more fair.

He's not that different. He's got like 2 new openings, his cross slash is no longer a roll catch and they've removed first hurtbox from his flying meteor attack.

I cant agree with Elden Beast, having a boss run away from you the entire fight was the most annoying From Soft boss I have ever thought (except for the teleporting twins in DS3). PCR for some of us was the peak of challenges.

Its ok for me tho. When Im done with Elden Ring online I can downgrade back to 1.13 and use my saves I dup'd before the new patch because I saw so many people warning about hackers ruining your saves. If I can be bothered of course. Ill probably find new PCR still near impossible solo as im not that good.

When you get to the end of the DLC, as I did on my first play, and basically find out that your build just won't work against the boss unless you become some kind of no hit god, then that's not a problem with my build that has served just fine until this boss.

That's a problem with this boss.
