just to mention there are locations and effects that will drop fps with this laptop and there is nothing you can do.
yes this game is a performance tank, beside this the overall hardware you have with this laptop is at the lower end and this can cause issues as i mentioned.
there is additional a little trick to get some more cpu time for the game that could improve the performance a little bit.
Open regedit.
Navigate to \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options
Check if already exists a eldenring.exe key (if yes you need to delete the whole key to eliminate all Settings made by other software).
Right click on "Image File Execution Options"> New> Key
Name the new Key
Eldenring.exe
Right click on the eldenring.exe key >New>Key>
PerfOptions
Select "PerfOptions" then right click>New>DWORD 32bit
name it CpuPriorityClass > set it to 3
check temperatures while gaming, to find out if the system run into a throttle by high temperatures (specific at laptops) too.
